Ingredients :
500 g Tempe, sliced thin box
5 pieces of curly red chili, thinly sliced
200 ml water
oil to taste
Seasonings :
3 cloves garlic, crushed
4 red onion seed, crushed
2 seed red chilly, mashed
2 bay leaves
2 cm galangal, smashed
2 eyes tamarind, brewed with hot water, filtered
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon salt
A small piece of palm sugar
How to Cook :
- Fry tempeh in hot oil until crisp. Remove and drain.
- Saute the blended ingredients with bay leaves and galangal until cooked.
- Add curly red chili, water, acid water, and sugar. cook until sauce is really thick.
- Put crispy fried Tempe. Remove and serve.
